White Collar Season 1 DVD

Season 1 of White Collar is the beginning of a series that just gets better with every season. The complexity introduced in the first season continues to pay off, but you have to start somewhere when you’re collecting DVDs and this is it.

Season one has Neal Caffrey escaping from prison when he has only 4 months left on his sentence. He is caught (again) by FBI agent Peter Burke, who works out a deal with him to get him released from prison after Neal helps him on a case. Neal has to wear a tracking device on his ankle but the arrangement works out well as they solve cases and take down criminals.

Neal, of course, has an agenda all his own, and Burke knows better than to trust a con man.

Nevertheless, they make a good team, and this is an excellent show for fans of crime mystery TV series. Slick, sophisticated, and fun, White Collar is one of my favorites. You’ll know why when you watch, if you aren’t already a fan.
